Highly anticipated by people all over the world, this year’s event will take place on February 2nd bright and early in the morning. [adinserter block="4"]Every February 2nd, the Balzac Business Community Association hosts their Annual Groundhog Day Breakfast to rouse Balzac Billy from hibernation and find out if spring is just around the corner or if there will be 6 more weeks of winter.Let’s hope Billy doesn’t see his shadow this year! Although, whatever his prognosis is for 2024, the Groundhog Day Breakfast is sure Balzac Billy is Alberta’s favourite groundhog and weather guru, and he’s just made a much-anticipated announcement, but it might not be what many are hoping to hear.
